About the Host-Nick Phillips

Nicholas E. Phillips is the host of the Advocate. A full time trial attorney practicing in Cleveland, Ohio, he is a senior partner with the law firm of Phillips & Mille. The firm provides legal services in elder law, probate, family law, civil litigation and personal injury law. Nick has been politically active since he left active duty with the U.S. Air Force in 1977.

Nick retired as a Colonel and JAG officer with the United States Air Force. Nick supports veterans projects and governmental support for its veterans. Nick was elected to a local school board 4 times, has served as a municipal law director, served ten years as a volunteer juvenile court diversion program magistrate and presently volunteers his time with the local Citizens Corps and serves as the county chairman of its Citizens Corps council which organizes thousands of volunteers for homeland security purposes.

Beginning in 2000 with the radio program, The PM Hour, Nick has been involved in educational radio programming aimed at bringing out the best that Cleveland and Northeastern Ohio has to offer. Guests are welcomed, treated with respect and are allowed to present their views on current topics of local, state, national and international interest with pithy, incisive and sometimes humorous questions.
